FAQs

What’s new about worshiping during COVID-19?

Trinity’s safety task force has developed and implemented a written plan to keep our community safe during COVID. The plan incorporates NYS guidance for public gatherings including a mask requirement, limited capacity for spaced seating, germicidal UV lights installed in the sanctuary, additional cleaning protocol, no singing, and hand sanitizer stations among other items. Worship is also live-streamed each week for those more comfortable joining us from home.

When & Where?

Worship with us on Sunday mornings at 10am; 185 Swaggertown Road, Scotia, NY 12302.

You can also join us virtually via YouTube by clicking on this hyperlink and then the ‘Live’ video.

Where do I park?

We have a large parking lot with spots designated for visitors and those with mobility limitations.

How can I follow along during worship?

A bulletin and hymnal are available from the ushers as you enter the sanctuary. The latest bulletin is also posted on the This Week at Trinity page.

We also utilize a projector and large screen to display everything you’ll need to participate in worship.

Is my child welcome to attend worship with me?

Children are always welcome to join us in the sanctuary, but we also offer a staffed nursery room during worship. School-aged children are welcome to join the Sunday School class dismissed from worship after the special children’s message each week.

What happens after worship?

We gather for Coffee Hour after worship concludes. The Deacons arrange to have members of the congregation provide refreshments and snacks each week - we hope you’ll consider staying to visit with us!

What should I wear?

Come as you are! Our congregation has a diverse wardrobe, from dresses and suits to T shirts and jeans. Generally it is a more casual setting.
