Trinity is More Light

What does that mean?

“Following the risen Christ, and seeking to make the Church a true community of hospitality, the mission of More Light Presbyterians is to work for the full participation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA+) people in the life, ministry and witness of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and in society.”

Commitment to Inclusivity and Opposition to Racial Injustice

Firmly believing that every human being is created in God’s image, Trinity Presbyterian Church is committed to openness and inclusivity at all levels. We stand in opposition to the racism and systemic injustices that shape the lives of Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) in the United States. We grieve and are outraged by the deaths of the many people of color lost to racist violence. We share in the sorrow and anger and stand in solidarity with protests for justice for all. BIPOC lives matter. Recognizing that the sin of racism is woven throughout structures of society including the church, we are committed to anti-racism, to listening to the voices of people of color, to spending our time and energy and resources to learn what we can and then to act on what we learn.
