Since 2001, Trinity's youth have sponsored a Brazilian
boy, Robson (Ro) Rodrigues De Paula, through the
Christian Children's' Fund. Ro is now 14 years old. His
family and his community have both benefited from the
CCF sponsorship.

Next to Ro are Raquel, Jose Carlos, Viviane, and Ramario.
For the third year, animals have been "adopted" at Woodberry Crossing in Parkton, MD. The "adoption" helps pay for food
and veterinary care for a few of the many varied animals at Woodberry Crossing.

Other activities have included service projects at Trinity that have been
everything from painting to digging drainage ditches to waiting on tables at
Trinity's community dinners. Each December the youth groups carol at homes of
Trinity members that are shut-in. Kid's mission money purchased 3 different
animals through Heifer International. A group went to New York City for mission
to the city's homeless through the Youth Service Opportunity Program. Every
May, youth participate in the Schenectady 5k Crop Walk.

The summer is here and that means dynamic fun-filled opportunities for the youth group. Now is the time to make your plans.
First, there is the final Silver Bay Youth Conference (SBYC), July 7-12. Register early as this event will most likely meet
its quota soon. The SBYC has been an enriching experience that youth have been know to plan their summers around.
Unfortunately, this is SBYC’s last year so don’t miss out. See www.silverbaypyc.org.
Second, Trinity is headed back to Woodberry Crossing for another intergenerational work camp August 9-13. Come with your
family or come on your own, but sign up to go.
Third, don’t forget about the Middle School or Senior High weeks at the Hebron Center. Many of our youth attend the final
week of Hebron in August as a great way to connect with old friends and make new ones in a safe, spiritual environment.
See www.albanypresbytery.org/hebron_summer_camp.html for the camp schedule and registration brochures.
If you’ve never gone to any of these events, don’t wait any longer to sign up for one or more. Also, Trinity’s Board of Deacons
will provide a $50 scholarship to help with the cost.
