Education
for youth and adults
Christian Education at Trinity
Trinity is dedicated to sharing our faith and stories with the youth of the
church.  We also strive to inspire, challenge and educate adults through
periodic adult study groups.

Sunday School classes meet every Sunday during worship.  Preschool
through ninth graders attend the start of worship with their families and then
go to class after the Word to the Children.  Classes run from the Sunday after
Labor Day through the end of the public school schedule in June.  The
curriculum used is "We Believe" which provides Bible study and plenty of age
appropriate activities and discussion ideas.
Sunday school classes for the Spring term are
led by Amy Jessup for pre K and K,
Jennifer Parsons for grades 1-4 and K,
and Lori Korkoz for grades 5-8.
The curriculum used is "We Believe."
Adult Education and Enrichment   At Trinity we believe that
Church school isn't just for kids.  If our faith is to continue to grow and
thrive, we need to feed our hearts and minds.  Adult education and
enrichment has taken many forms over the years: book studies, Bible study,
current events, seminars on life issues such as "Caring for Aging Parents" and
"Raising Healthy Children," and even a class on what it means to be
Presbyterian.

JUNE BIBLE STUDY
PEACE BEYOND UNDERSTANDING
Each Monday night in June all are welcome to a Bible Study from
7:00 to 8:00 at Trinity. The theme of our study is
Peace Beyond Understanding: Paul’s Letter to the Philippians.
Philippians is perhaps the most heartfelt of all Paul’s letters,
written to an economically disadvantaged community of devoted
believers in the region of Macedonia, or northern Greece. Paul
writes to these believers from prison, concerned about a challenge
that is threatening to divide if not tear the community apart.  In
preparation for the Bible study, participants are encouraged to not
only read this short, but moving letter, but also to read the story
of its remarkable beginning in Acts 16. The Bible study will provide
both historical and literary background, but will also be conducted
devotionally, that is, with prayer and personal insight.
Come and be enriched.

A adult series "Living Micah 6" was
conducted in Spring 2005.  Trinity's now has
a Micah 6 Team that facilitates the real world
living of "doing justice, loving kindness, and
walking humbly with our God."
There is a national
Micah 6 home page
with more information.
